What we needed to cultivate, then, was simply the Memoria Dei, the memory of God. . . We only had to be conscious of God and grow into the life force that already lived in us.

About Me
I am practical theologian whose interests include history, psychology, and sociology. I combine these interests to provide a variety of trauma-informed resources to others.
As a chaplain/spiritual care coordinator, I offer compassionate presence to people facing addiction, critical illness, death, and other life experiences.
In my spiritual direction practice, I create a safe, non-judgmental space for those seeking to explore their connection to the Divine.
I also offer workshops and individual coaching for people seeking to attain inner freedom, access the true Self, or grow in compassion for others.
Grounded in the Benedictine values of humility and hospitality, I welcome partnerships with people of any (or no) faith tradition.
Nurture others as they discover the movement of the Divine within their own lives.
Provide a non-judgmental space for each person's individual experience.
Draw on my own experience with trauma and addiction.
Welcome each person with tenderness, dignity, and respect.
My preparation for ministry includes a Master of Divinity and a graduate certificate in spiritual direction, both from Saint John's School of Theology and Seminary. I also hold certificates in Hispanic ministry and mental health first aid.
An Oblate of Saint Benedict, I engage in regular practices of Benedictine spirituality while uniting with professed monastics in ongoing formation.
As a member of Spiritual Directors International, I receive spiritual direction myself and participate in direct supervision by peers and teachers.
